Well, not exactly on a dock or even near a bay. What do you do when you want to go fishing with your dad and dad is at work? You make a fishing boat out of a little blow up swimming pool and throw the line (or USB cable) out to catch fish. That is what Tucker did last night. Such a wild imagination that boy has!

going green
Look at my little green girl. Actually, out of the three children, she LOVES all veggies. Well, from the few she has tried....broccoli, celery, mushrooms, squash, green beans and tomatoes (okay, they are a fruit). I was really surprised that she liked the mushrooms, but she loves them. And, by the looks of the photo, she loves clovers and grass.

Thru a child's eyes
By looking at this picture, you would never know it takes him about three times each time up to hit the ball. He tries with all his might. He puts all of his heart and soul into it. It gives my son such pleasure to hit the ball, even if it is only off the tee. It gives him a great sense of accomplishment and joy. He usually will give me the thumbs-up sign after he makes it to first base. He also says after every game, "I am a good hitter". It is too bad that somewhere between childhood and adulthood, most of us stop putting our heart and soul into simple pleasures and fail to feel proud when we accomplish something. This is why it is good to look at life through the eyes of a child.

Yay for books
Okay, today there is no picture. Not that there is nothing to take a photograph of, just wanted to share that I am a member of bookmooch. It is this great online book trading site. Kris and I have a ton of books, and honestly, I feel if you have read it once, what is the point of it laying around? Kris on the other hand keeps his and can fill a library. I found bookmooch and it is great! I've given my old books and have received many books I have been wanting for years.
You should take a look!

Just as I was beginning to get frazzled...........
I looked out the window and what did I see? I saw a beautiful pink sunset staring at me. Okay, it wasn't staring at me, but it rhymes. I could not capture the beauty of the sky, buy I tried.

New home..................
For our hermit crabs. Yes, we have seven hermit crabs, 5 bigger ones that are pinkish, I forget the exact kind, (Hercules, Bob Bill, Angelica, Batman, and another one I forgot his name) and two little grays (Paco and Nacho Libre). Anyway, they have a new home. Tucker, McKenna and I decorated it today. Tucker thought of putting the American flag we got today at the parade, so we did. Their tank is much bigger than before, but not nearly as big as the 50 gallon we used to have. For the ground they have crushed coral and coconut fiber. They have a swimming pool, castle to hide in, moss to eat and hemp netting to climb. Anyway, I think they like it. They have been climbing on the net and hopefully they will be eating their peanut butter that is sitting on top of the little truck. The hermies LOVE peanut butter (and the truck was Tuckers idea).
Here is a photo of one of the hermies. I think this one is Bob Bill (Tucker named him, after Bob the Builder). But, it is hard to tell really who is who, except for Hercules, who is BIG and we have had for almost seven years.

Remember When..
Remember when swinging on a swing or looking for bugs was fun? What happened to those days? As an adult, the simple pleasures of life do not happen very often. It is almost like you have to plan them.
Fortunately, for children they happen randomly and often. How wonderful is it that a child can continuously smile and giggle for minutes on end while riding a swing. If I did that, my jaw would hurt.
